During March 20-24, 2017, trainers from the National Center of Professional Excellence for Librarians, Regional Centers of Professional Excellence from Balti Municipal Library and raion libraries from Orhei, Telenesti, Cahul, Ceadir-Lunga, Causeni, as well as trainers from the Center of Excellence of the National Children’s Library participated in trainings on the advanced Training of Trainers module.

Novateca Program launches a call for applications for an exciting opportunity for innovative and adventurous public librarians in Moldova. All librarians from public local, raion, town, municipal and national libraries, members of Novateca network, with a commitment to being leaders and innovators in their library and communities, are invited to apply to the Library Innovators Leadership Initiative.

The Novateca program, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the National Library of Moldova, launched the 2nd phase of the national public library awareness campaign “See You at the Library!” on March 24, 2017, highlighting the impact that modernized public libraries are having on lives of Moldovan citizens across the country.
